• Forgotten Book Week (any week you want!) Displayed books seldom taken out anymore and encouraged children to sign them out.
  
  
• Preservation Awareness Week "The Life Of A Book: It's In Your Hands" (any week you want!) Preservation Awareness Week is an idea from Lorraine Olley at Indiana University-Bloomington Libraries including:
  • Bring your worn and damaged books to the Book Clinic for advice on care and repair.
  • Standing exhibits, demonstrations on conservation and preservation by the members of the IUL Preservation Dept.
  • An assortment of videos that ran continuously Monday through Friday all day long.

  • Diffendoofer Day (any day will do!) Celebrate with Dr Suess and Friends with plenty of ideas and things to do.
