I heard it was later found to be a myth. During the plage there was a song similar to "Ring Around the Rosies" but had nothing to do with it. The actual song is about the plage but didn't exist until much later. "ring around the rosies" (the disease is passing amoung everyone). "Pocket full of posies",(the rash and bumbs that spead over your body). "Ashes Ashes" (burning). "We all fall down" (everyone dies).
